Tobiano is a white coat pattern that can be combined with any colour to produce a coloured horse.
A horse with the tobiano pattern typically has a coloured head although may have a blaze, stripe, star and/or snip. The edges of the coloured/white areas on the body are distinct rather than jagged. Colour is present over one or both flanks and some white typically crosses over the back. All 4 legs are white.
