The Horse PurchaseWhen buying a horse from a private seller "Caveat emptor" (let the buyer beware) applies whereas buying from a business such as a Horse Dealers, Sales Agents And Importers the buyer is protected by the Trade Descriptions Act. Therefore when buying from a private seller any information gained from the seller should be verified if possible and included in any purchase contract when buying the horse. Before buying any horse it is recommended that a thorough viewing and vetting of the horse for sale is conducted before deciding to buy and that a purchase contract is in place and a receipt obtained for payment made. |
