Horse Head Markings

Blaze
A broad white marking down the face, extending over the nose.

Snip
White marking between the nostrils, sometimes extending into the nostrils. Horses may have a snip and star combination.

Star
A white marking on the forehead. Horses may have a star and snip combination.

Stripe
A narrow white marking down the face.

White Face
White marking over the forehead, nose and part of the muzzle

Wall Eye
An eye which shows white or blue-white colouring.
